On this mega episode we get to talk city campaigns with legendary podcaster Brett Bloczynski from Gaming and BS. He tells us all about his Avalon campaign, what makes it work, and gives some great advice on how to bring these urban environments to life for your players. Maaaan, I didn’t know you could cuss on this show! I would have abused the privilege! Brett sounds right up my alley in role playing style and considerations, and I want to touch on his point about excluding things from your setting: what you leave out is as important as what you put in, because that tells you where to focus your time and attention to make things interesting. Dragonlance did this well, but Forgotten Realms does not.
